So I made a new computer and I need games on it. So I download speed and a couple of games, but my download speed is terrible. It's just 700kb/s on average, even without anyone using the internet.
My old pc used to be 3.6 mbps, but that was because it was hooked into the router from verizon. Now I am using a ethernet hub, and it's 700kb/s on steam. It's also slow when I download things from the internet.
I did a speed test, (speedtest.net) and I got 5.5~ mbps for download and 8~ mbps for upload
